These heavy round art glass bookends feel very ripe and tropical, though we can't say exactly what fruit they are. They are made with the time-honored Murano sommerso technique, where clear glass is layered on top of colored glass. The controlled bubbles throughout the glass are a significant part of their considerable appeal. Also, the fact that they seem completely round, except for their very subtle but important flat spot on one side that makes them bookends. Lovely.
